FLIR Enters Military Ground Robotics Vehicle Business With Deal For Endeavor Robotics

Fresh off an acquisition for maker of small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), FLIR Systems [FLIR] on Monday said it has agreed to acquire Endeavor Robotics, which makes small robotic ground vehicles for military, public safety and law enforcement customers for $385 million in cash. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2019.
