Exelis Looking To Bring More Military Technology To Medicine

Exelis [XLS] is looking to bring more of its military technology to the medical field as part of an effort to diversity its business in an era of declining defense spending, according to the company’s CEO. Exelis President and CEO David Melcher said yesterday that in addition to Exelis’ business arrangement with Novocure, a commercial stage private oncology company, Exelis is looking to bring some of its night vision technologies to medicine.
