Dynetics’ New IFPC Inc. 2 Production Contract Could Cover Up To 317 Launchers

The Army’s recent production award to Leidos’ [LDOS] Dynetics for Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) Inc. 2 systems could cover procurement of up to 317 new launchers, a service spokesperson has confirmed. Along with providing additional details on the potential $4.1 billion IFPC Inc. 2 production deal the spokesperson also told Defense Daily a contract award to move forward in developing a second interceptor for the cruise missile and drone defeat system is expected in the third quarter of this…
