DynCorp Completes Purchase of Consulting Firm

DynCorp International [DCP] yesterday said it has completed its acquisition of Phoenix Consulting Group, Inc., bolstering its services to the intelligence community. Terms of the deal, which was announced last month, were not disclosed (Defense Daily, Oct. 1). Phoenix will be consolidated as a business unit with DynCorp's Global Stabilization and Development Solutions business segment. The deal allows DynCorp, through the Phoenix Training Center, to provide proprietary training courses, management consulting and augmentation services to the intelligence community.
