Granite Construction Co., Watsonville, Colorado, was awarded an $18,708,400 firm-fixed-price contract to mill and overlay Runway 13-31, asphalt and shoulder repair, Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. Bids were solicited via the internet with five received. Work will be performed in Clovis, New Mexico, with an estimated completion date of July 30, 2022. Fiscal 2021 military construction, Army funds in the amount of $18,708,400 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the contracting activity (W912PP-21-C-0037).
