Coast Guard Plans Rad Maintenance Contracts

The Coast Guard plans to award several sole source contracts for preventative and remedial maintenance for its various radiation detection units. The service plans potential five-year awards to Thermo Fisher Scientific [TMO] for maintenance of all IdentiFINDER-U radioisotope identifications, to Sensor Technology Engineering, Inc., for maintenance of all Radiation Detection Backpacks, and to Polimaster, Inc., for maintenance of all PM-1703 gamma/neutron personal radiation detectors.
