CBP Issues RFI for Laser Illuminators

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to determine sources of Enhanced Designators, which are sometimes referred to Laser Illuminators, for a potential purchase. The designators would be used along the land and waterway borders of the U.S. to assist in the detection and identification of items of interest by CBP agents.
