Calspan Systems Corporation, formerly Triumph Aerospace Systems—Newport News, designs and manufactures propulsion systems, test rigs, aerospace systems, composites, and testing hardware for fixed wing aircraft, rotary wing aircraft, and missiles. It also provides a variety of marine, test, and technical services with customers that include NASA and the Defense Department.

Calspan Systems Corporation’s products are on the Airbus A380 Rolls-Royce engine, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter United Technologies [UTX] engine, and infrared suppressor technology for the United States Army to protect helicopters.

The acquisition includes the California-based Force Measurement Systems division of Triumph Aerospace Systems—Newport News.
