The Department of Homeland Security, in support of the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office, is seeking program support for the Securing the Cities (STC) program. Specifically, DHS wants information about the interest and capability of industry to support the sustainment of preventative radiological/nuclear detection screening equipment throughout the equipment lifecycle in collaboration with CWMD. CISA Seeks Public Input on Incident Reporting
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has issued a Request for Information to seek public input as it develops proposed regulations for cyber incident reporting by critical infrastructures. The Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act was signed into law earlier this year and requires CISA to publish a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking within two years of enactment. The agency says it is particularly interested in input on definitions for and interpretations of the technology to be used in the propose regulations; the form, manner, content, and procedures for submissions of reports required under the act; information regarding other incident reporting requirements including the requirement to report a description of the vulnerabilities exploited; and other policies and procedures, such as enforcement procedures and information protection policies that will be required for implementation of the regulations.
