DroneShield Ltd. Says it has become a member of the Airports Council International Europe, which represents more than 500 airports in 45 European countries. The Australian-based company says it is the only counter-drone company that has been accepted for membership in ACI Europe.

has won a potential three-and-a half-year $2.4 million contract from Immigration and Customs Enforcement to provide leadership training to the Homeland Security Investigations unit.

The U.S. State Department provided an Antiterrorism Assistance grant to Senegal that was used to deploy two body scanners and four explosives trace detectors at the passenger checkpoint for outbound flights from Blaise Diagne International Airport near Dakar. The equipment grant is worth more than $800,000. This past spring, the department using the same grant program delivered mentoring and training in airport security management and airport patrol management to civil and law enforcement authorities from the seven agencies responsible for Senegal’s airport and aviation security.
