Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations division is acquiring two InstantEye Robotics Mk-3 small unmanned aircraft systems for test and evaluation purposes. The value of the award is $43,100. ICE says the InstantEye systems meet HSI’s operational testing requirements for being quiet, weather proof, controllable by a single operator, encrypted all-digital communications, field repairable, and a control radius of about one mile.

The Univ. of Washington

has received a potential $125,000 award from Customs and Border Protection for the Canada-United States Maritime Information Sharing Pilot Project: Puget Sound (CANUS) in support of installation, analysis and testing of a system for radar detection of previously dark vessels for enhanced domain awareness and operational coordination. CBP says an Airbus workstation will provide enhanced Maritime Domain Awareness via a persistent maritime surveillance capability within the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the Salish Sea, and the San Juan Islands.

The Naval Air Systems Command plans to award CACI International [CACI] a contract for continued improvements and support of the company’s suite of technology systems for the SkyTracker Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS), as sell as additional CUAS units, product sustainment of new and existing CUAS capabilities, and installation and integration for rapid mission specific system reconfiguration. The work is in support of the NAVAIR AIRWorks Special Project Execution and Advanced Rapid Integration Integrated Product Team.
