Boeing Closes Insitu Acquisition

Boeing [BA] yesterday said it has completed its acquisition of unmanned air system (UAS) developer and manufacturer Insitu, Inc., giving it a stronger position in the low-cost UAS market. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Insitu will operate as an independent subsidiary under Boeing Integrated Defense Systems' Military Aircraft unit.
