Beechcraft Emerges From Bankruptcy In Time For Light Air Support Decision

Beechcraft, formerly known as Hawker Beechcraft, formally emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in time for the Air Force’s Light Air Support source selection, which is expected to take place Friday. The company’s Joint Plan of Reorganization was approved by Feb. 1 and took effect Friday, according to a company statement. Beechcraft exited the restructuring process with a reduced debt load, a restructured balance sheet and the support of a “well-capitalized” shareholder base.
