Army To Negotiate With AAI Corp. For UAS Tech Integration

The Army yesterday said it expects to negotiate a sole source contract with AAI Corp. [TXT] for more than 300,000 labor hours to support the service integration of technology into the contractor’s fleet of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The Army Contracting Command-Redstone (ACC-R), anticipates a sole source Indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for an estimated 300,140 labor hours of engineering and technical services and associated in material, travel and other direct costs.
