Army Awards Sikorsky $55 Million Contract Modification For Mexican Black Hawk Helicopters

The Army awarded Sikorsky, a division of Lockheed Martin [LMT], a $55 million foreign military sales (FMS) contract modification for seven uniquely configured UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters bound for Mexico, the service said Monday.The total award was obligated at award time using Fiscal 2016 “other procurement” funds. Contract work is to occur in West Palm Beach, Fla., with an expected completion date by Feb. 28, 2019.The contracting activity is Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala.The Pentagon has approved Sikorsky contracts…
