Air Force Could Be Inappropriately Increasing Contract Risk, DoD IG Says

Air Force contracting personnel may be inappropriately increasing the service’s contracting risk by issuing cost-reimbursable, or non-firm-fixed-price, contracts because cost-reimbursable contracts provide less incentive for contractors to control costs, according to the Pentagon’s watchdog.
