Air Force Awards Virtualitics $46 Million To Bring AI To Weapons Maintenance

Virtualitics, a small company providing artificial intelligence readiness applications, has received a $46 million contract from the Air Force to deliver a maintenance solution in support of multiple weapon systems. Under the five-year Phase III Small Business Innovation Research contract, Virtualitics will provide its Integrated Readiness Optimization (IRO) Maintenance solution to the wing level at “numerous locations across the U.S.,” the Pasadena, Calif.-based company said on Tuesday.
