The Air Force said Dec. 28 it awarded Boeing [BA] an $895 million contract for operational enhancements to the C-17 military transport aircraft. The contract, a cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, fixed-price incentive-fee and cost-reimbursement deal, will provide integrated software and hardware upgrades and development efforts for the C-17.
