Agencies in NYC Region Competing for Grants under Securing the Cities

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is making available $30 million in grants that state and local governments and other agencies in the New York City region can compete for under the Security the Cities (STC) initiative, which is an effort to monitor the transportation networks in high risk urban areas for the illicit transport of radiological and nuclear material.
