AEVEX Agrees To Acquire BlackSea Technologies To Access Unmanned Maritime Systems

AEVEX Corp. [AVEX] on Wednesday said it has agreed to acquire BlackSea Technologies in a deal worth up to $650 million that would add a robust portfolio of unmanned surface vessels (USVs) to its lineup that is largely made up of precision strike systems and unmanned aircraft. The acquisition is expected to close in September and consists of $250 million in cash, $350 million in AEVEX’s Class A common stock priced at $27.50 per share, and a potential $50 million…
