AEVEX Aerospace Acquires Veth Research To Enhance Unmanned Autonomy Solutions

AEVEX Aerospace on Monday said it has acquired Veth Research Associates to strengthen its unmanned autonomy solutions for operating in contested and GPS-denied environments. AEVEX said the key to the deal is Veth’s modular LYNX vision-based navigation system that Veth says works in GPS-denied environments by combining “image processing, nonlinear sensor fusion, and machine learning techniques” for around-the-clock operations, different cloud and environmental conditions, and over a wide-range of terrain types. “With the addition of VRA’s leadership team and subject…
