AeroVironment Readies To Begin Production Of Loitering Munitions At New Facility

AeroVironment [AVAV] has established a new production facility for its loitering munitions, FreedomWerx, which is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and will begin manufacturing operations in the second half of 2025. The 200,000 square-feet FreedomWerx fits with AV’s approach to distributed production model of geographically dispersed manufacturing facilities to strengthen resiliency versus single-location, gigafactories.
