Accenture Federal Acquires IT Solutions Provider Cognosante

Accenture Federal Services on Monday said it has agreed to acquire Cognosante, a provider of digital transformation and cloud modernization solutions for federal agencies. Terms of the deal, which is subject to regulatory approval, were not disclosed. Cognosante’s customers include federal health, defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies. The company has capabilities in digital transformation, data and integration, managed services, customer experience, cybersecurity and privacy, and performance measurement and optimization.
