3D Printing Tech Company Velo3D Nabs $33 Million DIU Award To Help Weapons Program

Velo3D [VELO], a developer of medal additive manufacturing solutions used in aerospace, defense and other industries, won a $32.6 million contract from the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to help the Navy and an unnamed prime contractor to prototype and qualify 3D printed components to unlock a bottleneck in a weapon system program.
