TSWG Awards Reveal $2.6M for EDS Image Quality Improvements

The Explosives Detection subgroup of the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) awarded Reveal Imaging Technologies a one-year, $2.6 million contract to investigate the trade- offs between image quality of Computed Tomography X-Ray Explosive Detection Systems, false alarm rates and throughput. Evaluation methods include X-Ray scanning techniques and image resolution that is not currently available in any commercially available certified EDS, TSWG says.
