Saab Wins $17.5 Million UAE Airborne Surveillance Support Agreement

Saab AB signed a support agreement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) concerning an airborne surveillance system worth about $17.5 million, the company said Dec. 29.Valid for the 2016-2018 period, the agreement covers support and maintenance for the surveillance system Saab 340 Erieye AEW&C. This system was previously delivered to the UAE and consists of Saab 340 aircraft rigged with the Erieye radar systems plus associated ground equipment.“The agreement is a confirmation of our ability to deliver a comprehensive support…
