Work on E-7A Wedgetail for USAF Rapid Prototype to Begin

Boeing's [BA] defense systems unit said on Wednesday that the first E-7A Wedgetail fuselage for the U.S. Air Force rapid prototype program has arrived at the Boeing 737 line in Renton, Wash. The Boeing Commercial Airplanes business unit builds the 737-based E-7A and U.S. Navy P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft and the 767-based Air Force KC-46A Pegasus tanker.
