Wittman To Host Military Readiness Briefings For House Leadership, Budget Conferees

House Armed Services readiness subcommittee chairman Rob Wittman (R-Va.) arranged two briefings with Pentagon officials for House leadership and for congressmen serving on the budget conference committee to learn about what sequestration is doing to military readiness. The House comes back from a week-and-a-half-long recess on Nov. 12, and on Nov. 13 and 14 Wittman will host the briefings, he said yesterday. Rep.
