Wittman Says OMB Director Seems Open To SAWS-Type Shipbuilding Workforce Effort

The vice chairman of the House Armed Services Committee this week said the new director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) seems open to a Navy and industry shipbuilding workforce proposal to increase wages. “We had a great conversation with the new director. So he was just getting up to speed on those issues. We provided him some additional information because he said, 'Listen, I'm very willing to listen and understand more about it.
