Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Paul Zukunft on Thursday said that his staff is currently reviewing the requirements for its Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) with affordability in mind.The “biggest challenge that we’re facing right now is that this will not be affordable,” Zukunft said at the annual Surface Navy Association conference in Arlington, Va. “I’ve turned it back to industry…bring me a capable platform that is also affordable.”Zukunft, who became commandant last May, is doing more than leave it to industry…
