Virginia Power Chief, GD Board Member Jay Johnson To Succeed Chabraja

General Dynamics [GD] yesterday announced that Jay Johnson, a former chief of naval operations and currently the head of Dominion Virginia Power, will succeed Nicholas Chabraja as CEO of GD beginning July 1, 2009. Johnson, 61, who has been a member of GD's board since 2003, will resign from Dominion effective June 1, 2008, and join GD as vice chairman and an executive officer on Sept. 2, 2008.
