Vantage Robotics Introduces Nano Drone For Operations In Contested Environments

Vantage Robotics on Tuesday launched the second product in its small drone portfolio, Trace, a nano drone for military operations in contested environments, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure applications. Trace, a quadcopter that weighs 5.4 ounces and can launch from the palm of a hand, includes autonomy features such as 360-degree obstacle avoidance, a radio that uses frequency hopping to avoid jamming, and encryption to prevent interception. “It can operate without GPS in all conditions and has an exceptional counter…
