USSF Launches Fifth and Sixth GSSAPs after Five-Month Delay

The U.S. Space Force’s (USSF) Space Systems Command launched the fifth and sixth Northrop Grumman [NOC] Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program (GSSAP) satellites aboard a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral, Fla., on Jan. 21. ULA is a partnership between Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Boeing [BA]. The USSF-8 mission will be the first GSSAP launch since 2016.
