U.S. Approves Sales Of Aegis Support To Japan, Vehicles To Lebanon

The State Department approved two separate Foreign Military Sales (FMS) on Tuesday, $100 million in Aegis Class Destroyer Support to Japan and $34.5 million in M1151A1 High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles to Lebanon. Japan requested follow-on technical support of destroyers equipped with the Lockheed Martin [LMT] Aegis Combat System (ACS) to include Combat Systems Sea Qualification Trials (CSSQT), test and evaluation services, sustainment support and services, Aegis computer software updates, systems integration and testing, in-country and on-site engineering support, and…
