TSA Plans RFP in July for Credential Authentication, Boarding Pass Scanner

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) this month intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase, deployment and maintenance of the Credential Authentication Technology and Boarding Pass Scanning System (CAT-BPSS). The system may consist of a single device or set of devices that are battery powered and network capable.
