TSA Plans Large EDS Maintenance Contracts With Morpho Detection, L-3

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) this week said it plans to award contracts potentially worth about a half billion dollars apiece to Morpho Detection and L-3 Communications [LLL] for maintenance on the two companies' respective Explosives Detection Systems (EDS) they provide to the agency to screen checked baggage for explosives.
