TSA Deploys First X-Ray AT Machines At Airport

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) this week said it has deployed its first new generation of Advanced Technology (AT) X-Ray inspection system for scanning carry- on baggage at airport security checkpoints. The deployment at Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Airport marks the start of a deployment of at least 600 of the X-Ray AT systems at airports in the United States this year.
