TransDigm Acquires Aero-Instruments

TransDigm [TDG] yesterday said it has acquired Aero-Instruments Co., LLC, for $35 million in cash, expanding its portfolio of sensors and components it supplies to the aerospace industry. Cleveland-based Aero designs and manufactures air data sensors including pitot probes, pitot-static probes, static pressure ports, angle of attack, temperature sensors and flight test equipment primarily for the business jet and helicopter markets.
