Thailand Navy Chooses Sperry Marine For Integrated Bridge Systems

Northrop Grumman's Sperry Marine [NOC] was selected to supply full Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS) to the Royal Thai Navy's future frigates, the company said Tuesday.The contract will supply a full IBS system to the Royal Thai Navy via the Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering shipyard, with options for three further systems, the company said.IBS includes the VisionMaster™ FT family of products and navigation systems, like the NAVIGAT™ X MK1 gyrocompass, NAVIKNOT™ speed log, a Warship Automatic Identification System, and a Voyage…
