The State Department has approved a possible $90 million deal with the U.K. for three MK 11 Shallow Water Combat Submersible (SWCS) SEAL Delivery Vehicles (SDVs).

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress of the potential foreign military sale on Sept. 19.

The U.K. has requested three SDV MK 11 Shallow Water Combat Submersibles to continue its maritime regional security capability and its partnership and interoperability with U.S. forces.

Included in the deal are spares, handling equipment, test equipment, operator manuals and technical documentation. In addition, it includes U.S. Government and contractor engineering, training, technical, and logistical support services.

The prime contractor for the deal is Teledyne Brown Engineering [TDY].
