The State Department has approved a possible $75 million deal with the U.K. for Phalanx Baseline 2 Radar Upgrade Kits.The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress of the potential foreign military sale on Sept. 19.The U.K. has requested 50 MK 15 Phalanx Close-in Weapon System (CIWS) Block IB Baseline 2 Upgrade Kits for close-in ship self-defense against air and surface threats onboard the country’s naval combatants and auxiliaries.Under the deal, the U.K. would also receive support equipment, test equipment,…
