Senate Passes $740 Billion FY ’21 NDAA With Veto-Proof Majority

The Senate on Thursday passed it’s $740 billion fiscal year 2021 defense authorization bill, which followed two days of debate including striking down a call to cut the budget by 10 percent and adding a measure to bolster the domestic microelectronics supply chain. Both the Senate and House version of the next National Defense Authorization Act have been approved by a veto-proof majority, following a White House threat to veto the final bill over provisions such as renaming bases named…
