Senate Confirms Deyo To Lead DHS Management Office

The Senate on Thursday voted 95-2 to confirm Russell Deyo to be the next under secretary of Management at the Department of Homeland Security, filling one of the last two remaining senior vacancies at the department.The two senators opposing Deyo’s confirmation were Mike Lee (R-Utah) and David Vitter (R-La.). Not voting were Senators Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), and Ted Cruz (R-Texas). A spokeswoman for Lee said via email that the senator voted against Deyo due to President Barack…
