Senate Committee Seeks Additional Study For JFCOM Small Unit Program

By Ann Roosevelt The Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) does not recommending funding a National Program for Small Unit Excellence--developed over the past several months by U.S. Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) to improve small unit joint capability--but would fund related initiatives. "The committee directs that none of these funds be used for the establishment of a center," the report language on the fiscal year 2010 authorization bill said.
