SASC Defense Bill Specifies $4.2 Billion Shipbuilding Add, Clarifies Frigate And LSM Restrictions

The Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) released the full fiscal year 2025 defense authorization bill on Monday, which detailed recommendations to boost shipbuilding funds by $4.2 billion as well as clarifying restrictions on the new frigate and Landing Ship Medium (LSM) programs.
