SAIC [SAI] yesterday was awarded a contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston (SSCC) to support command, control, communications, computers, cryptology, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) programs, the company said.

This single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a one year base period of performance, four one-year options, three one year award terms and a total contract value of more than $221 million if all options are exercised, according to SAIC. Work will be performed primarily in Charleston, S.C., by SAIC’s wholly-owned subsidiary Eagan, McAllister Associates, Inc. (EMA), the company said.

Under the contract, SAIC will provide production engineering, integration, product improvement, test and evaluation, and maintenance support services. SAIC will also integrate technology to help modernize C5ISR program support systems, according to SAIC.
