Rolls-Royce Turbomeca To Provide Engine Maintenance For U.K. Apache, Merlin Helicopters

The U.K. Ministry of Defense on Sept. 11 said it has awarded an approximately $580 million contract in a six-year agreement with Rolls-Royce Turbomeca to provide engine maintenance for two of the U.K.'s military helicopter fleets. Rolls-Royce Turbomeca will deliver essential support for the U.K. Army’s Apaches and the Merlin helicopters used by the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force.
