Rheinmetall Wins Nearly $14 Million In Germany Contracts To Supply Puma Ammunition And Accessories

Germany’s Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology, and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) awarded Rheinmetall a series of orders worth about $14 million to supply ammunition and accessories to the Puma infantry fighting vehicles as it integrates into the German armed forces, the company said Wednesday.The series of orders includes production and delivery of 10,000 rounds of 30mm x 173 caliber armor-piercing ammunition, modification of a system gun rest, and to supply special tools and spare parts.
