Raytheon Wins $529 Million Contract To Provide AMRAAMs

Raytheon [RTN] was awarded a $529 million fixed-price incentive firm contract modification to exercise an option to provide Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAMs), the Air Force said in a contract announcement on Tuesday.This is an option exercised on the previously awarded contract FA8675-15-C-0022 awarded Dec. 22, 2014. The original contract was for Lot 28 production. This included the missile, captive air training missile, common munitions bit/reprogramming equipment, and non-developmental item airborne instrumentation unit.This modification option will have Raytheon provide Lot…
