Raytheon Receives $51.6 Million Navy Contract For Satellite Communications Support

The U.S. Navy recently awarded Raytheon [RTN] a $51.6 million contract to provide logistics support for the communication terminals of the Navy's Extremely High Frequency Satellite Program (NESP). The performance-based logistics contract calls for Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC) to fulfill all requisitions; warehouse and track government-furnished material; resolve supply-obsolescence or source issues; and evaluate, test, repair and/or modify the communication equipment as needed.
